| Legal situation prostitution : Prostitution
has been legalized 1992. Pimping and letting out rooms to prostitutes is
illegal. The Interior Ministry has issued a plan in 2/96 that
prostitutes must be registered as private entrepreneurs; local
governments will issue the licenses and prostitutes will have to carry a
valid certificate of health. In 10/97, the interior minister introduced
a bill to ban roadside prostitution. |
